Game and Dogs: Week 16

This weeks game of the week is the New Orleans Saints at the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta at 12-2 will be securing their Division title with a win, while New Orleans will be trying to get their last year title back and trying to not be a 5th seed.

This weeks' Dogs are the Texans visiting the Broncos. Both teams look to be taking a step back in their franchises.

NFC West Poll Conclusion

Last poll asking who will win the NFC West. Once again the St. Louis Rams came in a unanimous decision as the winners.

49ers Correction

Correction in this weeks Power Rankings. It stated that the 49ers were facing elimination. That is not true they can still win the division title.

Rams Win Most Improved Team

On Last Weeks Poll deciding who is the most improved team with Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, and St. Louis, St. Louis unanimously won. St. Louis went from 1-15 to 6-7 so far this season with a chance to host a playoff game.

Super Bowl Champs Got the Game of the Week

For this week's Game and Dogs of the Week, we have a bigger variety than last weeks not so great match ups. New Orleans at Baltimore takes the game of the week. The Saints can't lose a game if they hope to take the division and not play in St. Louis for a playoff game, which would be quite hilarious. While it seems that the Saints can have a loss and still be fine the same may not be said for the Ravens. In a seemingly stronger conference a loss can really turn their season for the worst, while trying to cling onto a playoff spot.

This Weeks Dogs once again features Arizona but this time playing an even weaker opponent. Interesting about this game is that the Cardinals still have a chance for the playoffs. While Arizona looks for a playoff chance the panthers just looks for some dignity.

Week 15 Power Ranking

1(1) (11-2)- Patriots - Superbowl? Maybe?

2(2) (11-2)- Falcons - Consistent all season long.

3(3) (10-3)- Steelers- Looks like a Steeler/Patriots Conference Title.

4(6) (10-3)- Saints - 30 points + in the last 4 games.

6(4) (9-4)- Jets - Current streak is 2 losses.

7(7) (9-4)- Bears - Lovie Smith never beats the patriots

10(13) (8-5)- Jaguars - They break the top ten.

11(8) (8-5)- Packers - Can't get over the fact they were the Pre- Season favorites.

13(15) (7-6)- Colts - They hold their own destiny.

14(17) (7-6)- Chargers - Too inconsistent.

Sadly the Game of the Week

It's time for my pick of the game and dog of the week. Sadly this week is not felt with heart busting games like last week which sadly leads me to my conclusion that this week's Game of the Week is "The Colts VS The Titans." Why? Well because both teams are within a game of each other and both are coming of a losing streak. However, the main reason is this may most likely be the colts last stand.

My dog of the week is "The Broncos VS The Cardinals." After just firing their coach Denver just lost to the Rams within the past two weeks. Oh wait, so did Arizona. Both teams are 3-9, what are they playing for? I don't know! Whoever with gets a worse pick in the draft.

Power Rankings Week 14

1. Patriots (10-2) - With a dismantling of the Jets like that it's hard not to be one.

2. Falcons (10-2) - Two tough back to back wins.

3. Steelers (9-3) - This was suppose to be the Ravens spot.

4. Jets (9-3) - You have to remember that they beat the Patriots earlier this year.

5. Ravens (8-4) - You got to protect that Blind Side.

6. Saints (9-3) - They struggle against bad teams.

7. Bears (9-3) - I believe they secured Lovie's job.

8. Packers (8-4) - Weren't they suppose to be the Super Bowl favorites?

9. Eagles (8-4) - You mean the guy who went to jail?

10. Chiefs (8-4) - I think they deserve to break the top 10!

11. Giants (8-4) - Maybe Eli is better? Nah!

12. Buccaneers (7-5) - Are they the most improved team?

13. Jaguars (7-5) - When was the last time they were in such a premium position.

14. Raiders (6-6) - Yes I am also shocked!

15. Colts (6-6) - Even with a three game slide they still have number 18.

16. Rams (6-6) - Six wins equals there three year sum prior to.

17. Chargers (6-6) - No way they can go before the Rams or Raiders!

18. Dolphins (6-6) - I remember people saying this team was suppose to be amazing. Oh well!

19. Texans (5-7) - I really just want to see them make the playoffs one year.

20. Seahawks (6-6) - Sadly this is the second best in the West.

21. Browns (5-7) - Good game versus the Saints.

22. Titans (5-7) - Colts have a three game slide, Titans have a five game slide. Did the Jaguars put something in the other teams Kool-aid.

23. Vikings (5-7) - Now can Farve retire?!

24. Cowboys (4-8) - 3-1 under a interim! What?

25. Redskins (5-7)- I feel like they're always 5-7

26. 49ers (4-8) - I think that come back might be just a tad late.

27. Broncos (3-9) - What they fired Josh Mcdaniels? Who saw that coming? I did.

28. Cardinals (3-9) The team with the biggest fall. Now you see what happens when you get rid of all your good players.

29. Bills (2-10) - Your in the same league as the Patriots and Jets? What? The same division!

30. Bengals (2-10) - I got no comment.

31. Lions (2-10) - What is this, the 20th year in a row ranked so low.

32. Panthers (1-11) - That's ok at least you tried.
