Power Ranking Week 14 2011-2012

The top five spots don't move as Green Bay stays number one and probably won't unless their impressive offense doesn't do it for their unimpressive defense. They Saints win again and claim the number two spot but the Ravens are right behind as the AFC leader. The 49ers blew out the Rams for the division while number five Steelers are in a dog fight with number three Ravens.

1(1)-Green Bay Packers-(12-0)-No matter how much we all hate it, they're most likely going perfect.

2(2)-New Orleans Saints-(9-3)-Drew Brees is already looking ahead to the NFC Championship vs GB.

3(3)-Baltimore Ravens-(9-3)-If they continue to play like they have the rest of the schedule should be no problem.

4(4)-San Francisco 49ers-(9-2)-A shutout win secured their first division title since 2002.

5(5)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(9-3)-The Steelers sweep the Bengals this year.

6(6)-New England Patriots-(9-3)-The only thing stopping them is their pass defense.

7(7)-Houston Texans-(9-3)-The Texans acquire their second winning season ever despite the injuries.

8(8)-Atlanta Falcons-(7-5)-After the 7th spot the teams are no longer impressive.

9(14)-New York Giants-(6-6)-Showed that GB can be defeated. Just outscore them. Easy enough. Right?

10(10)-Chicago Bears-(7-5)-To add to sorrow, Forte is now out.

11(9)-Oakland Raiders-(7-5)-It's not so bad, Miami is 4-1 in the past five games.

12(11)-Detroit Lions-(7-5)-They just want a winning season at this point. They'll beat GB for it.

13(12)-New York Jets-(7-5)-Can Rex do another six seed-championship game appearance?

14(13)-Cincinnati Bengals-(7-5)-They just can't get past their two good rivals.

15(17)-Tennessee Titans-(7-5)-One of the surprises of the year.

16(15)-Dallas Cowboys-(7-5)-Last weeks loss might of screwed them.

17(18)-Denver Broncos-(7-5)-Tebow is a horrible QB but he's a winner and that's what counts!

18(16)-Buffalo Bills-(5-7)-Just a massive decline...go to Toronto already!

19(20)-San Diego Chargers-(5-7)-Turner might be saving his job with a win last week and maybe this week.

20(19)-Philadelphia Eagles-(4-8)-People are saying Reid needs to go but it's not his fault, he told them not to call themselves the Dream Team.

21(22)-Kansas City Chiefs-(5-7)-Close win over a injured Bear's team

22(23)-Washington Redskins-(4-8)-Remember how they were good until Beck came in for Rex.

23(24)-Seattle Seahawks-(5-7)-They should of taken advantage of the 49ers loss, but they didn't.

24(28)-Miami Dolphins-(4-8)-Blew out the Raiders..THEY ARE PLAYING BETTER THAN 4-8!

25(29)-Carolina Panthers-(4-8)-Maybe Cam is taking notes from Tebow on how to win.

26(21)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(4-8)-The lockout really affected them.

27(26)-Arizona Cardinals-(5-7)-They Always have close games.

28(25)-Cleveland Browns-(4-8)-They seem to have taken several steps back.

29(27)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(3-9)- The new interim coach didn't help but that's not Weaver's goal anyways.

30(30)-Minnesota Vikings-(2-10)-In a race for second overall pick with the Rams.

31(31)-St. Louis Rams-(2-10)-Spags can't get shutout if he has any chance of keeping his job.

32(32)-Indianapolis Colts-(0-12)-Is so sad to watch..they fight hard and want to win so badly.

Game and Dog of Week 14 2011-2012

GAME OF THE WEEK

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

This game is a battle of the QBs who may be elite. While Tony Romo and Eli Manning keep trying to convince us that they can get it done constituently, their personal egos is not up for grabs. The battle for the NFC East is what each team is fighting for. If Dallas wins, they'll have a two game lead on New York, but if New York wins they'll have a half game lead on Dallas. Both these teams meet back up in the final week of the regular season.

Giants 34, Dallas 14

DOG OF THE WEEK

St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks

Twice in a row now the "Dog of the Week" is a Monday game. Many thought this game would decide the division but now with the 49ers earning that title last week and Seattle's chances at the wildcard seem to be non-existent, this game is meaningless.

Seahawks 21, Rams 7

49ers Shutout Rams

49ers 26, Rams 0

The 49ers claimed their first NFC West title since 2002 as they shutout the hapless Rams.

49ers Pro - Frank Gore ran all over the worst rush defense to help deliver a shutout.

49ers Con - Constant delay of game penalties should worry 49er fans of Alex Smith's improvement.

Rams Pro - The Rams had great redzone defense led by Chris Long.

Rams Con - The Josh McDaniel's offense seems to have no improvement.

Miami Plays Better As Raiders Fall

Dolphins 34, Raiders 14

The Dolphins are 4-1 in the last five game as Sparano tries to keep his job but it could not come at worse time for the Raiders who's loss put them in a tie with the Broncos for first place.

Dolphins Pro - Rushing for over 150 yards and a solid defense kept their win never in jeopardy.

Dolphins Con - Blowing the shutout at the end of the game is not what winners do.

Raiders Pro - Palmer's effort throughout the game despite the conditions is a up for all Raider fans.

Con - The defense, who was manhandled all day long.

26(27)-Arizona Cardinals-(4-7)-Tied for second with only four wins.

29(29)-Carolina Panthers-(3-8)-Hey Indy counts as a win.

30(30)-Minnesota Vikings-(2-9)-That third win didn't come yet.

31(31)-St. Louis Rams-(2-9)-There season has been over.

32(32)-Indianapolis Colts-(0-11)-Are they really going to go winless.

Game and Dog of Week 13 2011-2012

GAME OF THE WEEK

Green Bay Packers at New York Giants

This may be the toughest game the Packers played in awhile but the Giants want this one bad to stay in the mix. While Aaron Rodgers is a great QB, Eli Manning is the king of winning games he should not win.

Giants 30, Packers 28

DOG OF THE WEEK

San Diego Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars

Who would of thought at the beginning of the season the Chargers would be one of the 'Dogs'. With their recent decline if there is ever a game to win, it's this one as the Jags just fired Del Rio.

Chargers 20, Jaguars 7
