Wildcard Weekend 2014-2015

We will be previewing this week's wildcard games.

(6) Baltimore Ravens at (3) Pittsburgh Steelers

It is a fight of the AFC North as one of the best rivalries in the NFL meet for the third time this year. The first game went to the Ravens, but the second went to the Steelers. The Steelers are 2nd in passing offense while the Ravens are 24th in passing defense. The Steelers also have a better win streak of four games versus Baltimore's one. It will be close but the edge go to the home field team.

Steelers 31, Ravens 28

(6) Detroit Lions at (3) Dallas Cowboys

Ndamukong Suh will not be sitting out this week and only be receiving a fine. That however will not be enough as the Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFL and can beat anyone any day. The Cowboys are led by DeMarco Murray who started of the season with 100+ yard games. However, the Lions defense is 1st in run defense as they hold teams to an average of 69.3 yards a game. It will be a fun game to watch but ultimately the Cowboys should be able to pull away.

Cowboys 24, Lions 21

(5) Cincinnati Bengals at (4) Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck has quickly become the face of the next generation quarterback, And while someday he will probably win a Superbowl, this year does not look the be it. While the Bengals have not been the best team consistently the Colts have not been the best against playoff caliber teams. The Colts four losses are to the Broncos, Eagles, Steelers, Patriots, and Cowboys. They have gotten to play the Titans twice, Texans twice, and Jaguars twice, along with games against the Browns, Redskins, and Giants. Though, to be fair the Colts beat the Ravens and even the Bengals, but that was in the Bengals three game win-less slump in October. The Bengals have beaten Baltimore twice and just got a big win against the Broncos to secure their playoff spot.

Bengals 40, Colts 31

(5) Arizona Cardinals at (4) Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are the second team in history to make the playoffs with a losing record. However, if we learned anything from the 2010 Seattle Seahawks is that you don't dismiss anyone. The Cardinals have an outstanding defense, but have been cursed with injuries all year. The Panthers are coming off are coming off a four game win streak to make their playoff appearance possible and are one of the hottest teams at the moment.

Panthers 20, Cardinals 12

GAME OF THE WEEK

Week 16 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

Three predictions for Monday's game Broncos vs. Bengals.

1. Peyton Manning sits.

Manning is one of the most competitive players in the league but even he needs time to rest.

2. If Manning plays he has no touchdowns.

Manning will be shut down.

3. Andy Dalton has 500 yards.

Why not?

Week 16 Monday Night Football

Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals

There have been questions about if John Fox will play the Peyton Manning this game to let him fully recover. A win would help there chances in better seeding. The Bengals and Andy Dalton need a win to to help their playoff hopes. Next week they play the Steelers and that could have division title implications.

Broncos 41, Bengals 30

Giants Beat Rams 37-27

Odell Beckham Jr, had two touchdowns today against the Rams who hadn't let a touchdown in three games. This caused tension and fights in the combined penalized game this season that saw three players ejected after a brawl (Damontre Moore, Preston Parker, William Hayes).

Giants Pros: The Rams usually get into other teams heads, but Beckham Jr. got into theirs.

Giants Cons: The Giants are usually one of the most penalized teams but has a huge amount today.

Rams Pros: Tavon Austin keeps looking better and better after each game.

Rams Cons: They let other players get into their head.

Player of the Game: Odell Beckham Jr.

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 16 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

The Cardinals are currently in first place in the NFC West. They face they Seahawks who are one game behind. Drew Stanton is down and now the Cardinals will start Ryan Lindley. If Arizona can pull off the uphill battle they will secure the division. However, in the last three weeks the Seahawks have held each of their opponents to season low scores.

Seahawks 21, Cardinals 3

DOG OF THE WEEK

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars

While the Thursday night games have been pretty good this year, here we see a horrible one. Jacksonville is ranked in the power rankings at 31 while the Titans are 32. So what are these teams playing for? Well a better draft spot. The Titans currently hold the second spot while the Jaguars hold the third.

Jaguars 24, Titans 23

UPSET OF THE WEEK

New York Giants at St. Louis Rams

This really isn't an upset since both teams are one game apart and the eliminated from playoff contention. However, the Rams should win this, but they won't.

Giants 30, Rams 20

Week 16 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Teams Can Only Move Up and Down Within Five Spots

1(2)-New England Patriots-(11-3)-Yes, New England lost to Green Bay but that was in Green Bay, let's see what happens on a neutral field if both these teams make the Superbowl.

2(1)-Green Bay Packers-(10-4)-Green Bay is actually in 2nd place in the NFC North behind Detroit. If both teams win this week, their week 17 match up will be a fun one to watch.

3(3)-Denver Broncos-(11-3)-Denver won once again, but Manning hasn't been looking like himself and that's good, Denver needs to be versatile.

4(4)-Seattle Seahawks-(10-4)-Uh oh, here they come! Seattle looks poised to take the NFC championship once again.

5(6)-Indianapolis Colts-(10-4)-The Colts won, but they allowed J.J. Watt to get two sacks and two QB hits on Luck.

6(7)-Dallas Cowboys-(10-4)-The Cowboys got their revenge on the Eagles from Thanksgiving.

7(8)-Arizona Cardinals-(11-3)-The Cardinals are down another QB again, but if they can just hold off one more week and beat the Seahawks they will clinch the division.

8(5)-Philadelphia Eagles-(9-5)-There have been multiple articles stating for the third time in history we may see an 11-5 team miss the playoffs.

9(9)-Detroit Lions-(10-4)-The Lions are currently in first place in the NFC North, this next game is not a must win to claim the division, but it would certainly help.

10(10)-Baltimore Ravens-(9-5)-Once again the Ravens top off the top ten teams. This week's score once again is NFC: 6, AFC: 4.

11(12)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(9-5)-This division just keeps getting more exciting, but now it looks to be down to a 3 team race.

12(13)-Cincinnati Bengals-(9-4-1)-Right now the AFC North is the Bengals division to lose.

13(11)-San Deigo Chargers-(8-6)-The Chargers are currently ranked as the 8th team in the AFC. That means they are still alive but this upcoming week is a must win.

14(15)-Kansas City-(8-6)-The NFC might have beat the AFC out in the top ten, but the AFC has dominated the spots immediately following.

15(17)-Buffalo Bills-(8-6)-Woah, Big Win Buffalo they should call you. Who else is rooting for the Bills to go all the way?

16(14)-San Francisco 49ers-(7-7)-We finally get our first NFC team in the mid range, and it's one eliminated from playoff contention.

17(16)-Miami Dolphins-(7-7)-And here is the AFC again.

18(18)-Houston Texans-(7-7)-The Texans are one of six teams still in the hunt for a playoff spot for the AFC.

19(22)-New Orleans Saints-(6-8)-It looks like we won't see a historically low record division winner, but at the very least lets hope for the second 7-9 team to make the playoffs.

20(19)-Cleveland Browns-(7-7)-Best meme ever "Johnny Football hands off to Manti Te'o's girlfriend."

21(20)-St. Louis Rams-(6-8)-If only they were in the NFC South!

22(21)-Atlanta Falcons-(5-9)-Steven Jackson has been nominated by the Falcons for the NFL's sportsmanship award.

23(24)-Carolina Panthers-(5-8-1)-Carolina really is getting that second breath.

24(23)-Minnesota Vikings-(6-8)-At this point, there really isn't much to say about the remaining teams.

25(26)-New York Giants-(5-9)-The Giants are the second to last of the remaining teams to win this week.

26(29)-New York Jets-(3-11)-The other NY team is the last.

27(24)-Chicago Bears-(5-9)-We'd give Marc Trestman about a 65% chance of coming back next season.

28(27)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(2-12)-As it currently stands, the Bucs have the first overall pick.

29(28)-Washington Redskins-(3-11)-Jay Gruden has been informed he will be coming back next year, that's nice. Oh wait, they had to inform him in his first year?

30(31)-Oakland Raiders-(2-12)-Hey! Good job Oakland, no longer in the bottom two!

31(32)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(2-12)-Good job, Jags! Moving up in this world!

32(30)-Tennessee Titans-(2-12)-Tsk Tsk Titans!

Monday, December 15, 2014

Week 15 Monday Night Football

New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears at 5-8 are eliminated from playoff contention, but the Saints who also sit at 5-8 are not. The Saints main rival the past few weeks for the NFC South title has been the Falcons who lost yesterday. Their other rival, the Panthers won and now all three teams have five wins. If the Saints win tonight they'll be the sole leader in the win column in the South. What does this game mean for the Bears? Well, many people have been calling the firing of Marc Trestman, and he'll need to improve his wining record to keep his seat that much colder.

Saints 41, Bears 24

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

Week 15 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

This week's bold predictions will focus solely on Thursday Night's game of the Arizona Cardinals at the St. Louis Rams.

1. Rams hold the Cardinals to no points.

The past two weeks the Rams shutout the Raiders and Redskins and will do it again this week.

2. Tre Mason runs for 100+ yards.

The Cardinals are sixth in the league in rush defense but Tre Mason will run all over the Cardinals who will not be expecting it.

3. Tavon Austin will have another punt return touchdown.

Austin will once again show his play making ability.

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 15 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

This Sunday Night Football game has major playoff implications. Both the Eagles and Cowboys are 9-4 and the winner of this game will have a full game lead over the NFC East rival. The Eagles did it a few weeks ago on Thanksgiving and seem poise to do it again following a tough defeat against the Seahawks.

Eagles 24, Cowboys 16

DOG OF THE WEEK

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans

The battle of two win teams. This game will be a mess and will finish exactly like the Jets/Vikings game last week.

Titans 30, Jets 24

UPSET OF THE WEEK

Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams

The Cardinals need this win to keep ahead of the Seahawks, but with Carson Palmer out and the Rams playing so damn well, don't be surprised to see another Ram's shutout.

Rams 21, Cardinals 0

Week 15 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Note that teams can only move within five spots week to week.

1(1)-Green Bay Packers-(10-3)-Green Bay had a little bit of a scare last night against the Falcons.

2(2)-New England Patriots-(10-3)-The Patriots did what they couldn't do last week, win when down.

3(3)-Denver Broncos-(10-3)-Kyle Orton the former Denver Bronco threw more yards and touchdowns than Manning yesterday, but equaled Manning's interceptions with two.

4(5)-Seattle Seahawks-(9-4)-Seattle is back in business and as we all know too well, the hot team at the end of the year can win it all.

5(4)-Philadelphia Eagles-(9-4)-Bad news for Philly fans, three of the Eagles four losses are by teams in the NFC that most experts would say are elite. Would they be able to beat those teams in the playoffs, probably not.

6(6)-Indianapolis Colts-(9-4)-The game may not have exactly been pretty, but Andrew Luck showed he has the know to win.

7(7)-Dallas Cowboys-(9-4)-So Dallas played two Thursdays in a row. There seems to be something wrong with that.

8(8)-Arizona Cardinals-(10-3)-A lot of people are discounting the Cardinals, but at the end of the day, they are tied for best record in the league this season.

9(10)-Detroit Lions-(9-4)-With Detroit also at 9-4, the NFC wildcard race is going to be wild the next few weeks.

10(13)-Baltimore Ravens-(8-5)-With Baltimore rounding off the top ten, the NFC has six teams in the top ten, while the AFC only has four.

11(9)-San Diego Chargers-(8-5)-There is no shame in losing to the Patriots, but would it have been sweet to win? Hell Ya!

12(16)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(8-5)-This AFC North race keeps getting more exciting.

13(11)-Cincinnati Bengals-(8-4-1)-That time with Carolina is coming in really handy at the moment as the Bengals still hold first place in the division.

14(13)-San Francisco 49ers-(7-6)-The writing is on the wall, Harbaugh is on his way out, and most likely going to the Jets.

15(14)-Kansas City Chiefs-(7-6)-Both the Cardinals and Chiefs needed this game for their individual playoff aspirations, but the Chiefs needed it more.

16(15)-Miami Dolphins-(7-6)-Miami had some bad luck being lined up against the Ravens this week, and now face the Patriots in New England. However, remember that the Dolphins already beat the Patriots this year in the first week.

17(17)-Buffalo Bills-(7-6)-The Bills can get to 8-8 for the first time since the 2002 season. However, they face Green Bay and New England for two of those games.

18(19)-Houston Texans-(7-6)-People are convinced J.J. Watt should be MVP, but what has he done non-statistically since they keep only beating bad AFC teams, and not helping them beat teams that are better than them.

19(18)-Cleveland Browns-(7-6)-Brian Hoyer will be leaving Cleveland this season. Typical Browns organization having more QB turnover.

20(22)-St. Louis Rams-(6-7)-Prior to last week, St. Louis didn't have a shutout since 2006, now they did it twice in a row.

21(21)-Atlanta Falcons-(5-8)-It's a big possibility that we will see for the second time in history, a losing record team make the playoffs.

22(20)-New Orleans Saints-(5-8)-It would such sweet sweet revenge if New Orleans enter the playoffs with a losing record and defeat the Seahawks in the wildcard game.

23(24)-Minnesota Vikings-(6-7)-At 6-7, you really have to wonder how good this Vikings would be with Adrian Peterson.

24(25)-Carolina Panthers-(4-8-1)-Cam Newton was taken to the hospital today after being involved with a car crash, but all signs show he'll be fine.

25(23)-Chicago Bears-(5-8)-At 5-8, the Bears are out of playoff contention and many speculate the St. Louis Rams will trade for Jay Cutler for next season.

26(26)-New York Giants-(4-9)-Can the Giants finish strong enough for Coughlin to keep his job?

27(27)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(2-11)-It's sad knowing the Buccaneers are out of playoff contention.

28(28)-Washington Redskins-(3-10)-There was a mistake last week that listed the Redskins at 3-10 when really they were 3-9.

29(29)-New York Jets-(2-11)-Rex Ryan and Geno Smith are just counting down the days till they are handed their pick slips.

30(30)-Tennessee Titans-(2-11)-Well, someone had to lose the dog of the week.

31(32)-Oakland Raiders-(2-11)-The Raiders kinda just screwed themselves out of the first overall pick and a big pay day if they decided to trade it.

32(31)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(2-11)-The NFL dogs are at a race for Marcus Mariota.

Week 14 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

Three predictions for Mondays game of the Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers

1. Aaron Rodgers throws six touchdowns.

We've seen in before and it will happen again tonight.

2. Steven Jackson runs for a 100 yards.

Last week versus the Cardinals we saw the Jackson run for 100 yards for the first time this season. Now we see him do it two weeks in a row.

3. There are no turnovers.

A long shot, but possible.

Week 14 Monday Night Football 2014-2015

Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers

This should be a fairly easy win for the Packers who have been the hottest team in the nation right now. Aaron Rodgers is playing with some MVP status and as the game is home in Green Bay it will be hard for Matt Ryan and the Atlanta based franchise to win. However, if the Falcons can somehow pull off the upset it would be a huge advantage for them as they would have a one game lead on the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South.

Packers 40, Falcons 20

Game and Dog Week: Week 14 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers

Tom Brady and the Patriots find themselves once again in the Game of the Week. After last week's loss to the Packers, the Patriots find themselves against the Chargers, who just had two last minute wins against the Rams and Ravens the weeks prior. This will be an important game for both teams.

Patriots 41, Chargers 24

DOG OF THE WEEK

New York Giants at Tennessee Titans

The Dog of the Week was either this game or the Jets game. However, these two teams are combined for five wins.

Giants 24, Titans 21

UPSET OF THE WEEK

Dallas Cowboys at Chicago Bears

This week's Thursday Night Football game is also the upset of the week.

Bears 31, Cowboys 17

Tuesday, December 2, 2014

Week 14 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Teams can only move with in five spots week to week.

1(3)-Green Bay Packers-(9-3)-It is almost impossible to not give the Packers first place after beating the Patriots on Sunday

2(1)-New England Patriots-(9-3)-The Patriots are still the best team in the AFC and you have to wonder if the score would be switched if the game was played at Gillette Stadium.

3(4)-Denver Broncos-(9-3)-Winning the series against Kansas City is a huge advantage for Denver down the final stretch of the regular season.

4(6)-Philadelphia Eagles-(9-3)-Philly and Butt Fumble Marc looked really good Thursday.

5(7)-Seattle Seahawks-(8-4)-Seattle is now only one game out of first place in the NFC West. They play Arizona in Week 16.

6(9)-Indianapolis Colts-(8-4)-These power rankings so far doesn't differentiate from ESPN's.

7(2)-Dallas Cowboys-(8-4)-Here is the first difference.

8(5)-Arizona Cardinals-(9-3)-Arizona now has lost two games in a row and none of the remaining games will be a walk in the park.

9(10)-San Diego Chargers-(8-4)-The Chargers' games are always close, but they always find a way to win.

10(13)-Detroit Lions-(8-4)-The Lions are still hanging on to their playoff hopes with a win against Chicago. Up next is Tampa Bay.

11(15)-Cincinnati Bengals-(8-3-1)-The Bengals are the only AFC North team to win this week, giving them a huge advantage in the upcoming weeks.

12(11)-San Francisco 49ers-(7-5)-It feels weird but the 49ers will probably not make the playoffs this year.

13(12)-Baltimore Ravens-(7-5)-The Ravens lost to the Chargers at the very end of the game. This game will very likely play into a head to head factor in deciding the wildcard.

14(9)-Kansas City Chiefs-(7-5)-The Chiefs lost a trap game last week against Oakland, but it was obvious they still didn't sacrifice enough to beat Denver.

15(17)-Miami Dolphins-(7-5)-Last night, ESPN did a 20th anniversary special of the Fake Spike. Still an amazing play.

16(14)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(7-5)-The Steelers lost to the Saints. Yes, the Saints have a bad record, but they still have talent.

17(18)-Buffalo Bills-(7-5)-The Bills rank above Cleveland this week after beating the team on Sunday.

18(16)-Cleveland Browns-(7-5)-Johnny Football may be the starter for the Browns come Sunday, but Moshe Football is still mad at him for obvious reasons.

19(20)-Houston Texans-(6-6)-J.J. Watt should only be in the MVP discussion only if the Texans make the playoffs.

20(21)-New Orleans Saints-(5-7)-There was a mistake last week when the Saints record was written as 4-6, when really they were 4-7.

21(22)-Atlanta Falcons-(5-7)-When is the last time you saw Steven Jackson run like that?

22(23)-St. Louis Rams-(5-7)-Wow that a fun blowout to watch on Sunday!

23(19)-Chicago Bears-(5-7)-The Bears still have some playoff hopes despite their loss Sunday.

24(26)-Minnesota Vikings-(5-7)-The Peterson-less Vikings probably did better than most people expected this year.

25(25)-Carolina Panthers-(3-8-1)-There was a mistake last week that said the Panthers were 3-5-1. They really were 3-7-1.

26(24)-New York Giants-(3-9)-Is it possible that both NY teams will see a coaching change this off season.

27(27)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(2-10)-Let's be real. Everyone is rooting for the Bucs to sneak into the playoffs.

28(28)-Washington Redskins-(3-8)-Colt McCoy had 392 yards, 3 touchdowns, 0 interceptions but a QBR of 26.7.

29(29)-New York Jets-(2-10)-Geno Smith who is trying to secure a job had a QBR last nigh of below 8.

30(30)-Tennessee Titans-(2-10)-When considering JJ Watt for MVP, consider the fact that he plays the Titans twice.

31(32)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(2-10)-The Jags are the last position change in the rankings this week.

32(31)-Oakland Raiders-(1-11)-So after beating a solid team, you lose your most winnable game the week afterwards by 52 points?

Week 13 Monday Night Football 2014-2015

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

The Jets are playing two Monday nights in a row. Last week was against their AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills of Detroit. This week they play their other AFC East rivals, the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are still in the hunt to be in the AFC playoffs. The Jets are not. Ryan Tannehill should lead this team to an easy win on a nice night in the NYC region. However, Geno Smith will be back under center and it will be interesting to see how he does.

Dolphins 24, Jets 13

Rams Absolutely Destroy Raiders 52-0

Two former Los Angeles teams met today in St. Louis on the dawn of the controversial grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case from Ferguson. The Rams receiving core came out and gave a tribute to Ferguson. However, we are not here to talk about current issues. We are here to talk football, and today the St. Louis Rams shut out the Oakland Raiders. Incidentally, the last time the Rams shut out an opponent was in 2006 against the Oakland Raiders. Tre Mason had a career game (but he's only a rookie) with three touchdowns. The Rams finished the half 38-0 before playing half speed in the second half to finish the game 52-0.

Rams Pros - Brian Schottenheimer called a great game and got two of his biggest play makers in Tavon Austin and Tre Mason involved from the get-go.

Rams Cons - There weren't many today, just a few stupid defensive penalties that could have been avoided.

Raiders Pros - There weren't many here either but Maurice Jones-Drew had a 13 yard run.

Raiders Cons - Allowing a team to shut you out 52-0 and not all the points were from their offense.

Player of the Game: Tre Mason

Happy Thanksgiving

Moshe Football wants to wish all it's followers a happy Thanksgiving. We are truly thankful for you.

Week 13 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

Three predictions exclusively for the Thanksgiving games.

1. Matthew Stafford breaks the Thanksgiving passing yards record.

The record is held at 455 yards by Troy Aikman, and the Lions QB will break it.

2. No penalties will be called in the first quarter of the Eagles vs Cowboys game.

Even with the rivalry, the game will be clean in the first quarter.

3. Richard Sherman doesn't get thrown at.

Colin Kaepernick knows what happens when you throw in Richard Sherman's territory, and the 49er's QB will be fearful.

Thursday Night Football Week 13 2014-2015

Tonight we look at two of tomorrow's three Thanksgiving games,

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

This is going to be a great game. Both of these NFC East teams are 8-3 and the heads of the division. However, the Eagles have a slight lead as they have no losses in the division while the Cowboys lost to the Redskins. These two teams will play each other again, but a win will give them and early tie breaker.

Cowboys 41, Eagles 37

Seattle at San Francisco

This is another great game as both NFC West teams need this win. The Cardinals hold first place in the division as they are two games ahead of both teams at 9-2. The NFC playoff race is tight, and right now these two teams are fighting for a wildcard spot.

49ers 24, Seahawks 19

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 13 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

New England Patriots at Green Bay Packers

On almost every power ranking list is the Patriots and Packers taking up the number one and number two spots. With the Cardinals loss last week, it's hard to deny this. Now we get to see which major offense in the best.

Packers 44, Patriots 41

DOG OF THE WEEK

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans

This is an AFC South rivalry, Unfortunately, the South on both ends isn't so interesting this year. The Texans need to win to stay in the playoff hunt.

Texans 21, Titans 14

UPSET OF THE WEEK

Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions

In the words of Brian Griffin to some lions on Thanksgiving "Shouldn't you be in Detroit right now losing a football game". And that's what will happen.

Bears 34, Lions 20

Week 13 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Teams can move only within five spots.

1(2)-New England Patriots-(9-2)-The Patriots find themselves on top of the power rankings for the first time this season.

2(3)-Dallas Cowboys-(8-3)-Beckham Jr.'s catch wasn't good enough for a Cowboy's comeback.

3(5)-Green Bay Packers-(8-3)-The season is very much shaping up to have a Patriots/Packers Superbowl.

4(6)-Denver Broncos-(8-3)-Denver avoided a St. Louis situation again, but this team needs to work on themselves badly or they will be a one and done playoff team.

5(1)-Arizona Cardinals-(9-2)-Fair weather fans, it is not quite time yet to jump off the Arizona bandwagon.

6(7)-Philadelphia Eagles-(8-3)-Funny, but everyone seemingly has forgotten about the Eagles.

7(8)-Seattle Seahawks-(7-4)-Seattle got what was very likely a must win and continue to be in the NFC hunt.

8(9)-Indianapolis Colts-(7-4)-Luck threw for 253 yards as the Colts got a gimme win vs Jacksonville.

9(4)-Kansas City Chiefs-(7-4)-Our prayers go out to Eric Berry.

10(11)-San Diego Chargers-(7-4)-Wow, what a great game Sunday. That finish was one of those that make you realize why you love football.

11(12)-San Francisco 49ers-(7-4)-Boldin had a big day as the 49ers beat the Redskins.

12(13)-Baltimore Ravens-(7-4)-After giving much hate to the Ravens earlier in the season, Moshe Football's money is on the Raven's to win the AFC North.

13(10)-Detroit Lions-(7-4)-Detroit has lost two in a row and now is out of first place in the NFC North.

14(14)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(7-4)-The Steelers are one of the last two teams coming off their bye and face the Saints who just lost to the Ravens.

15(15)-Cincinnati Bengals-(7-3-1)-The AFC North keeps getting more interesting as all teams in the division won.

16(16)-Cleveland Browns-(7-4)-The Browns showed versatility as they came back to beat the Falcons.

17(17)-Miami Dolphins-(6-5)-Miami stays put despite the loss to Denver.

18(18)-Buffalo Bills-(6-5)-Many people have been speculating that the Bills will lose out their schedule.

19(21)-Chicago Bears-(5-6)-The Bears win in Tampa keeps them afloat in the playoff hunt.

20(19)-Houston Texans-(5-6)-The Texans are two games out and their playoff hopes are diminishing in the final stretch.

21(20)-New Orleans Saints-(4-6)-The Saints can't seem to get a break when trying to pull away in the NFC South. This week they face a tough game against the Steelers.

22(22)-Atlanta Falcons-(4-7)-It's actually the Falcons who are first place in the South. They face and Arizona team that just lost some major ground in the NFC West.

23(23)-St. Louis Rams-(4-7)-The Rams playoff hopes probably went out the door with Sunday's loss.

24(24)-New York Giants-(3-8)-Together the NYC teams only have five wins in the season. Not a good time to be a New Yorker.

25(25)-Carolina Panthers(3-5-1)-The Panthers are coming off their bye and are set to face the Vikings.

26(26)-Minnesota Vikings-(4-7)-The Vikings face the team right above them in the rankings this week.

27(27)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(2-9)-The Bucs are still only two games out of the playoffs and have a chance to win the division.

28(28)-Washington Redskins-(3-8)-People are saying that the either Gruden or RGIII are headed out next year.

29(29)-New York Jets-(2-9)-Geno Smith has been once again named the starter.

30(30)-Tennessee Titans-(2-9)-Mettenberger for 345 yards in Sunday's loss.

31(32)-Oakland Raiders-(1-10)-So, um, Moshe Football called that upset.

32(31)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(1-10)-The Jags are now last in the rankings.

Week 12 Monday Night Football 2014-2015

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills

Tonight we have the pleasure of watching two Monday Night Football games. Not because it's the first week of the NFL season but because the blizzard in Buffalo will have the game played in Detroit tonight. These two AFC EAST rivals

Bills 31, Jets 21

Baltimore Ravens at New Orleans Saints

The Saints are 4-6 and could pull away from the NFC South division with a win tonight. Drew Brees knows this. The Ravens are also need a win badly for their playoff aspirations. If Joe Flacco and the Ravens win then all AFC North teams will be at seven wins.

Ravens 24, Saints 22

Chargers Stop Rams in Red Zone To Win 27-24

The AFC West and NFC West met yesterday. The Rams and Chargers were both in the hunt for a playoff spot in their respective conferences. Both teams have a top 10 defense and the game showed it. The Rams were up 10-6 in the first half after Janoris Jenkins ran an interception 99 yards for a touchdown. However, in the third quarter the Chargers scored 14 more, the first of which was a 32 yard run by Ryan Mathews. After going down 20-10 though, the Rams came back as Tavon Austin ran, yes ran, it in for a six yard run. Eventually the game was 27-24 and the Rams were within the five yard line. But Marcus Gilchrist intercepted Shaun Hill's pass to end the game.

Charger's Pros - Ryan Mathews looked good and ran for over 100 yards.

Charger's Con - Philip Rivers' interception to Janoris Jenkins shift the momentum to the Rams quickly.

Ram's Pros - The Rams looked like they were going to have another Cardinal's game situation where the game got out of hand. But the Rams fought themselves back in this one.

Rams Cons - The Rams offensive line had some major penalties. In Fact two touchdowns were negated due to Ram's penalties.

Player of the Game: Ryan Mathews

Week 12 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

Three predictions for week 12.

1. Green Bay scores 49 points.

The Packers scored 50+ points in their last two games. However, Aaron Rodgers will fall one point short of extending the streak when he plays the Vikings.

2. The 49ers get five more picks.

Last week the 49ers got five picks against the Giants and will do so again against the Redskins.

3. Miami holds Denver to 7 points.

The Rams did it last week and now it is the Dolphins turn to upset the Broncos.

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 12 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

Arizona minus Carson Palmer still finds ways to win. Seattle now is three games behind and if they have any chance to the division it starts now.

Cardinals 14, Seahawks 10

DOG OF THE WEEK

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Chicago Bears

It's not often you see a dog of the week against a 2-8 and a 4-6 teams have some major implications. A win for Chicago puts them in the wildcard race. The Bucs on the other hand are still in their division race as they are only two games out.

Buccaneers 30, Bears 24

UPSET OF THE WEEK

Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders

The upset of the week will happen on Thursday Night as the Raiders beat the Chiefs. The Raiders need to win one game, right?

Raiders 24, Chiefs 21

Week 12 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Teams can only move within five spots.

1(1)-Arizona Cardinals-(9-1)-No other power ranking seems to give credit to the team that has been consistently finding ways to win.

2(3)-New England Patriots-(8-2)-This is the number one team in many people's mind.

3(8)-Dallas Cowboys-(7-3)-The Cowboys were on a bye and almost all the teams ahead of them in the rankings lost.

4(9)-Kansas City Chiefs-(7-3)-The Chiefs beat the Rams, Patriots, and Seahawks, the three teams the Broncos lost too.

5(10)-Green Bay Packers-(7-3)-The Packers had their second 50+ point game in a row.

6(4)-Denver Broncos-(7-3)-The Broncos looked bad Sunday and now must worry about their playoff seeding.

7(2)-Philadelphia Eagles-(7-3)-The Eagles showed they are not the best team in the NFC, let alone the second best.

8(5)-Seattle Seahawks-(6-4)-The Seahawks no longer need to worry about winning the division, first they need to focus on making the playoffs.

9(6)-Indianapolis Colts-(6-4)-The Colts helped show that the Patriots are the best team in the AFC.

10(7)-Detroit Lions-(7-3)-The Lions had a good lead on the Packers but should worry given Green Bay's momentum as of late.

11(11)-San Diego Chargers-(6-4)-The Chargers need to worry this week against the Rams who are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive.

12(12)-San Fransisco 49ers-(6-4)-Picking off the opposing QB five times should always get you the win,

13(13)-Baltimore Ravens-(6-4)-Baltimore comes off their bye and face New Orleans on Monday Night.

14(15)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(7-4)-The Steelers always struggle against bad teams.

15(18)-Cincinnati Bengals-(6-3-1)-The tie is helping them currently.

16(14)-Cleveland Browns-(6-4)-The Browns were on top of the division last week and now are in last.

17(19)-Miami Dolphins-(6-4)-The Dolphin fans certainly think they can repeat last week what the Rams did to Denver.

18(17)-Buffalo Bills-(5-5)-It wouldn't be crazy to see the Bills lose the rest of their games.

19(22)-Houston Texans-(5-5)-The Texans are in the playoff race, but also more importantly the division race.

20(16)-New Orleans Saints-(4-6)-The NFC South is the hardest division to predict this year.

21(24)-Chicago Bears-(4-6)-Chicago got a rivalry win, but it was against Minnesota, so...

22(25)-Atlanta Falcons-(4-6)-Atlanta is currently in first place.

23(27)-St. Louis Rams-(4-6)-The Rams finish what was called their "tough stretch" this week against San Diego.

24(20)-New York Giants-(3-7)-Eli Manning looks bad, five picks bad.

25(21)-Carolina Panthers-(3-7-1)-The Panthers finally get their bye. Maybe it came just a tad too late?

26(23)-Minnesota Vikings-(4-6)-In case you still any false hope, Adrian Peterson is definitely not returning this season.

27(30)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(2-8)-The Bucs are only two games out of first place.

28(26)-Washington Redskins-(3-7)-It may be premature but some people are claiming the RGIII will be out of Washington this year.

29(28)-New York Jets-(2-8)-The Jets come off a bye to face Buffalo.

30(29)-Tennessee Titans-(2-8)-The Titans now find them selves in the bottom three.

31(31)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(1-9)-Jacksonville is fighting for second place in the draft since Oakland won't give it up.

32(32)Oakland Raiders-(0-10)-Now even the St. Louis game doesn't look winnable.

Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Week 11 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

Three predictions

1. Austin Davis enters the game.

Word has come that Shaun Hill will start for the Rams against the Broncos, but we bet Davis comes in eventually.

2. Cleveland is only AFC North team to win this week.

The Browns will get their big lead for a playoff push.

3. Falcons and Panthers tie.

Just seems right.

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 11 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts

Tom Brady Vs Andrew Luck. What more can you ask for?

Patriots 41, Colts 39

DOG OF THE WEEK

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins

This game we did not ask for.

Buccaneers 20, Redskins 14

UPSET OF THE WEEK

Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers.

Monday Night Football might be fun this week, even though we said not to watch it in the power rankings.

Titans 21, Steelers 20

Thursday Night Football Week 11 2014-2015

A preview of tomorrow's game.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

This will be a good one. But more importantly, this game can have playoff implications. The Bills led by Kyle Orton are 5-4. The Dolphins led by Ryan Tannehill are 5-4 too. Both teams just came off a loss, Bills to the Chiefs and the Dolphins to the Lions. Any chance for these AFC East teams to make the playoffs comes in this game.

Dolphins 31, Bills 20

Week 11 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Teams can only move with in five spots week to week.

1(1)-Arizona Cardinals-(8-1)-The game against the Rams might seem meaningless but a loss would of put Seattle with in one game.

2(2)-Philadelphia Eagles-(7-2)-The Eagles came off a 40+ point game, but face a test this week in Lambeau Field.

3(3)-New England Patriots-(7-2)-The Patriot come off their bye and face Indianapolis in a big AFC showdown.

4(4)-Denver Broncos-(7-2)-It seem like the Broncos score at least 40 points every game.

5(5)-Seattle Seahawks-(6-3)-Seattle will have a road test in Kansas City, they recently destroyed the Rams.

6(6)-Indianapolis Colts-(6-3)-The Colts like the Patriots just got off a bye which will make their game even more interesting.

7(7)-Detroit Lions-(7-2)-Reggie Bush got to play against his former team from Miami, but he only recorded 25 total yards.

8(8)-Dallas Cowboys-(7-3)-The Cowboys got back into winning fashion with a win against Jacksonville.

9(10)-Kansas City Chiefs-(6-3)-Kansas City represents the first move in the power rankings this week.

10(11)-Green Bay Packers-(6-3)-Green Bay scored a scorching 55 points on Sunday Night in prime time.

11(9)-San Diego Chargers-(5-4)-The Chargers need to get back into the winning mood, and this is the week to do it as they play against the Raiders.

12(12)-San Francisco 49ers-(5-4)-The 49ers have to worry about making the playoffs this year.

13(15)-Baltimore Ravens-(6-4)-Baltimore is 6-4 and has really surprised this blog.

14(18)-Cleveland Browns-(6-3)-Cleveland is the surprise of the year. The are now 1st place in their division.

15(13)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(6-4)-This has been the problem with the Steelers all season long. They are too streaky and play up or down to their opponent.

16(16)-New Orleans Saints-(4-5)-The Saints have not been above .500 all season.

17(17)-Buffalo Bills-(5-4)-The Bills get a touch but winnable game next week down in Miami.

18(15)-Cincinnati Bengals-(5-3-1)-The Bengals look to be on their way down fast.

19(19)-Miami Dolphins-(5-4)-The Dolphins have been the definition of mediocre.

20(20)-New York Giants-(3-6)-At this point in the season a lot of the teams are set in place.

21(21)-Carolina Panthers-(3-6-1)-The Panthers have double the losses then they have wins. Yet, they are still a game out of the division title.

22(22)-Houston Texans-(4-5)-The Texans face the Browns.

23(23)-Minnesota Vikings-(4-5)-The Vikings face the number 24 ranked Bears.

24(24)-Chicago Bears-(3-6)-It must be hard to be a Bear fan and lose to your biggest Rivals like that.

25(27)-Atlanta Falcons-(3-6)-You can call it lazy writing that many of the teams have moved spots, but here is one move.

26(25)-Washington Redskins-(3-6)-The Redskins come off the bye to face the Bucs, which is more dog of the week than the Vikings/Bears.

27(26)-St. Louis Rams-(3-6)-The Rams had some tough luck in the 4th quarter and now it looks like Austin Davis is being pulled from the starting position.

28(29)-New York Jets-(2-8)-You got to wonder in that win will save Rex's career.

29(28)-Tennessee Titans-(2-7)-Don;t watch Monday night's game. It might suck unless Pittsburgh does another showing like they just did. Maybe the Titans can be fun?

30(30)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(1-8)-The Bucs. That is all.

31(31)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(1-9)-The Jags. That is all.

32(32)-Oakland Raiders-(0-9)-Now it;s more likely to see them not win a game.

Week 10 Monday Night Football 2014-2015

This week's Monday night preview.

Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles

The Panthers who have become a huge disappointment hopes to win this game in order to keep their playoff hopes alive after the Saints lost yesterday. Normally, the Eagles should be favorites no matter what, but what makes this game interesting is the fact that Nick Foles is out. Mark Sanchez best known for his butt fumble while on the Jets will be the starting QB tonight. But guess what, he looked good last week and in the preseason. Cam Newton vs Mark Sanchez, who would of thought?

Panthers 24, Eagles 21

Cardinals End Strong In The 4th To Beat The Rams 31-14

The Rams upset NFC West rivals the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers recently. This week they hoped to continue the tradition by upsetting the Arizona Cardinals. It looked just like that may happen as the Rams had a 14-10 lead heading into the 4th. Then Carson Palmer went down as all the Ram fans rejoiced knowing they were likely to win. However, Drew Stanton came into the game and had other plans. He threw a huge touchdown to John Brown for 48 yards. After that the stadium got revitalized which gave Patrick Peterson and the Cardinals defense momentum to end the game with a sting.

Cardinals Pros - The ability of Drew Stanton to come into the game out of nowhere and be ready to play.

Cardinals Cons - For the first few quarters they were going to let the Rams get back into the NFC West race.

Rams Pros - The defensive line was looking good again especially Robert Quinn.

Rams Cons - Penalties took them out of many scoring situations. Those problems start with head coach Jeff Fisher.

Player of the Game: Drew Stanton

Sunday, November 9, 2014

Week 10 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

Three predictions exclusively for today's 4 P.M eastern games.

1. Oakland gets their first win.

We've predicted a few times that the Raiders would get their first win, but now we got them beating the Broncos. Maybe this will be a Bronco's trap game?

2. Rams get eight sacks.

Last week the Rams got eight sacks on Colin Kaepernick. This week it'll be the Cardinals offensive line giving up the sacks.

3. Russel Wilson runs for 150 yards.

The Giants don't have one of the best run defenses and Russel Wilson of the Seahawks is one of if not the best running QBS in the league. He'll get 150 on the ground as the Hawks pound the New York football Giants.

Thursday, November 6, 2014

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 10 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals

Thursday Night Football once again is the game of the week. The Cleveland Browns have become one of this year's surprise teams. They are at 5-3 and Brian Hoyer has made the role of QB his. The Bengals started the season great but had a rough few middle weeks. However, the Bengals are now back on track, especially after beating the Ravens two weeks ago. It wasn't too long ago that these teams would fight for last place in the AFC North, but now their games have major playoff impacts.

Bengals 28, Browns 16

DOG OF THE WEEK

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Heading into week 10, these two teams have a combined three wins. Both disappointments start with each team's coach. Mike Smith is having another disappointing season with the Falcons, and there is speculation that he is on his way out. Lovie Smith came into Tampa Bay with much anticipation, but they are seemingly fizzled. It would be major speculation and a bold prediction, but a little fair to suggest maybe Smith will be on his way out too.

Buccaneers 17, Falcons 16

UPSET OF THE WEEK

St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals

The Rams find themselves in the upset of the week once again. They did it last week versus the 49ers, and now they are ready to take out NFC West's 1st place team. If there is a team to do it it is the Rams.

Rams 27, Cardinals 14

Brady Vs. Manning

This past Sunday we got the to witness the 16th match up between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. These two great quarterbacks have been the premier of the league for a long time. Many consider one of these two quarterbacks to be the winner of their era. Who that is exactly though is still unclear. Let's delve into each player's career.
Tom Brady came into the league out of the blue. He was drafted to the Patriots in the 6th round of the 2000 draft. Brady took over for Drew Bledsoe and became a Patriot sensation. Brady has won three Superbowls and two Superbowl MVPs. Tom Brady also has won two regular season MVPs.
Peyton Manning was the first overall pick in the 1998 draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Peyton has won one Superbowl (named MVP) and been to three. He has been taken both the Colts and Broncos to the Superbowl. Peyton also has won five MVP awards.
So, both players have their share of success, but who takes the place as the past era's QB title? The answer is Tom Brady. Yes, Manning has the awards, and some great records, but Brady has the rings, and that is what it comes down to. Let's look at Lebron James in the NBA for a second. James is a physical specimen and is a stat king, but he only has two NBA titles compared to Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan who have five. Bill Russell was by no means the best NBA player but he had 11 rings, So, Manning is the better QB, but Brady has had the better career unless Manning can get another ring under his belt.

Week 10 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Note that teams can move up and down five spots at most.

1(2)-Arizona Cardinals-(7-1)-Many give the Patriots the advantage here, but the Cardinals have the better streak, in a harder division, and find ways to win no matter what.

2(5)-Philadelphia Eagles-(6-2)-Nick Foles went down, but that is exactly why the Eagles didn't trade Mark Sanchez who played great in the preseason and this past Sunday.

3(7)-New England Patriots-(6-2)-The Patriots are now the best team in the AFC and Tom Brady is the MVP favorite according to an ESPN experts survey.

4(1)-Denver Broncos-(6-2)-Is it really that surprising of a loss? Looking at the Broncos team, you can clearly see they have some big flaws and are not as good as a few NFC teams.

5(3)-Seattle Seahawks-(5-3)-This week the Seahawks are the 5th ranked team and last week they were the 3rd. Interesting coincidence that is similar to their 5-3 record.

6(8)-Indianapolis Colts-(6-3)-The Colts got the win they much needed on Monday night after a bad loss last week to the Steelers.

7(9)-Detroit Lions-(6-2)-The Lions are coming rested off a bye, and face Miami.

8(6)-Dallas Cowboys-(6-3)-The Cowboys have now lost two straight games and many are wondering if this team is still legitimate Superbowl contenders, or can even make the playoffs.

9(4)-San Diego Chargers-(5-4)-The Chargers dropped five spots after being shut out by the Dolphins.

10(12)-Kansas City Chiefs-(5-3)-The Chiefs have played well as of late and crack the top ten this week.

11(13)-Green Bay Packers-(5-3)-The Packers play the Bears this week in the NFL's most historic rivalry.

12(11)-San Francisco 49ers-(4-4)-49er fans are really living up to the nickname "The Whiners" after this week's defeat.

13(18)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(6-3)-Is Tom Brady really the MVP? Ben Roethlisberger is the reason the Steelers are even above .500.

14(14)-Cincinnati Bengals-(5-2-1)-The AFC North really is the most fun division to watch this year.

15(10)-Baltimore Ravens-(5-4)-Three AFC North teams in a row..

16(15)-New Orleans Saints-(4-4)-It is amazing that the Saints are now in control of their division without a winning record, and starting the season of horribly.

17(17)-Buffalo Bills-(5-3)-The Bills come off a bye and face a nice but winnable challenge in the form of Kansas City.

18(19)-Cleveland Browns-(5-3)-All teams in the AFC North have at least five wins. This could be Cleveland's year to make the playoffs.

19(21)-Miami Dolphins-(5-3)-Miami continues to make a push and strong case for the playoffs.

20(16)-New York Giants-(3-5)-Eli Manning lost again to the Colts, but it is in the spirit of the Giants to look like their season is lost and then make a push for the wildcard.

21(20)-Carolina Panthers-(3-5-1)-The Panthers are collapsing before our eyes.

22(22)-Houston Texans-(4-5)-The Texans have lost four out of their last five games after starting the season 3-1.

23(26)-Minnesota Vikings-(4-5)-The Vikings have surprised as of late and are just one game under .500.

24(23)-Chicago Bears-(3-5)-The Bears have a must win game in Green Bay. They did it last year.

25(24)-Washington Redskins-(3-6)-RGIII's game back was spoiled and some people were calling for the return of hot handed Colt McCoy.

26(27)-St. Louis Rams-(3-5)-The Rams have beaten Seattle and San Francisco within the past three weeks.

27(25)-Atlanta Falcons-(2-6)-It seem likely that Mike Smith will no longer be with the Falcons at the start of next season.

28(28)-Tennessee Titans-(2-6)-The Titans can reasonably be the upset of the week this week as they play Baltimore.

29(29)-New York Jets-(1-8)-The only team the Jets beat this year was the Raiders back in week one.

30(30)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(1-7)-You have to wonder if the Bucs will clean house despite Lovie Smith's first year as coach.

31(31)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(1-8)-The last three teams can be interchangeable.

32(32)-Oakland Raiders-(0-8)-St. Louis looks like the only winnable team left to beat on their schedule.

Week 9 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

Three predictions exclusively for tonight's Monday Night Football game of the Colts vs Giants

1. Eli Manning has more passing yards than Andrew Luck.

Eli Manning may only be at 1,573 passing yards compared to Luck's 2,731 yards, but watch out for Manning to go on a rampage.

2. T.Y. Hilton has three touchdowns.

Hilton has become quite the receiver and tonight the whole world can see it.

3. Manning gets his first win against the Colts.

Manning never beat the Colts and maybe he will do it tonight, except not when his brother Peyton Manning was in control.

Week 9 Monday Night Football 2014-2015

A preview of the game on ESPN soon.

Indianapolis Colts at New York Giants

The Colts are heading to the Big Apple to take on the Giants. After a big loss to the Steelers, the Colts need a big bounce back for momentum sake. However, they face the Giants who are just coming off a bye. Andrew Luck is almost at 3,000 passing yards while Eli Manning is only at just above 1,500. Both teams need to win for playoff hopes, but the Giants at 3-4 have more of a stake at risk.

Colts 41, Giants 10

Rams Stop 49ers Short 13-10

The Rams and 49ers have one of the most storied rivalries in NFL history. However, as of the past ten years or so, the 49ers have seen the better side of the games. Not today though, as James Laurinaitis picked up Colin Kaepernick's fumble in the end zone on the second to last play of the game. The Rams may have saved their season, though their playoff hopes are still slim as they play the 7-1 Cardinals next week.

Rams Pros - The Defensive line was absolutely amazing. They had eight sacks led by Robert Quinn's two.

Rams Cons - Austin Davis played very poorly making Rams fans wonder about his future. He had a QBR of 44.6.

49ers Pros - Anquan Boldin played solid and was just short of 100 yards.

49ers Cons - The offensive line who allowed Kaepernick to be sacked so many times.

Player of the Game: James Laurinaitis

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 9 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

Denver Broncos at New England Patriots

Or better put Peyton Manning at Tom Brady. Both QBs are the best of the past era, and today they meet for the 16th time. However, this game has a little bit of an edge as whichever team wins will have control of the AFC.

Patriots 40, Broncos 24

DOG OF THE WEEK.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cleveland Browns.

The Browns actually shouldn't be a dog of the week team. However, mix in the fact they play the Buccaneers, and all teams equal to the Bucs play better teams, now you have the dog. Browns should get the win, but the Bucs are do one too.

Buccaneers 21, Browns 6

UPSET OF THE WEEK.

St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers

This week we are adding in an upset. This feature is being tried out and may get its own articles in the future. The 49ers got the best of the Rams last week, but Jeff Fisher knows how to beat superior teams in is division.

Rams 24, 49ers 23

Thursday Night Football Week 9 2014-2015

A preview of tonight's game.

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers.

This is a pretty major playoff picture game. The Saints are 3-4 and after starting the year off horribly, they are lucky the rest of their division isn't too good. They are now half a game behind the Panthers who are 3-4-1. Both teams are first and second place of the division. Whoever wins this game will probably win the NFC South.

Saints 34, Panthers 14

Week 9 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Teams can only move five spots per week

1(1)-Denver Broncos-(6-1)-The Broncos got a dominating win to show that they are the top team in not only the AFC West, but the conference.

2(2)-Arizona Cardinals-(6-1)-The Cardinals standout in only one major stat. They allow only 77.9 yards per game on the ground.

3(3)-Seattle Seahawks-(4-3)-The Seahawks and Panthers always seem to have close low scoring games. Last year's score was 12-7, this year's was 13-9

4(5)-San Diego Chargers-(5-3)-The Chargers now have two straight losses to division foes.

5(4)-Philadelphia Eagles-(5-2)-Nick Foles had over 400 yards this past Sunday, but he also threw two interceptions adding to his 10 already.

6(4)-Dallas Cowboys-(6-2)-DeMarco Murray now has eight straight games with 100+ yards, The Cowboys average 160.5 rushing yards a game.

7(10)-New England Patriots-(6-2)-New England has the making of a Superbowl team, and theBrady/Manning rivalry is reminiscent of when Manning was on the Colts.

8(6)-Indianapolis Colts-(5-3)-Brett Keisel of the Steelers had some strong support for Luck despite the loss the Colts got this week.

9(12)-Detroit Lions-(6-2)-Matthew Stafford had a QBR of 62.3 this Sunday, below his 86.5 average this year. However, it didn't matter as the Lions still got the win.

10(8)-Baltimore Ravens-(5-3)-Lorenzo Taliaferro has more touchdowns than Justin Forsett despite rushing for 300 yards less.

11(9)-San Francisco 49ers-(4-3)-The 49ers will be rested after now having a bye in the middle of the season.

12(13)-Kansas City Chiefs-(4-3)-The Chiefs won the Governor's Cup last week.

13(11)-Green Bay Packers-(5-3)-The Packers became the victims of NO playing like their normal selves.

14(14)-Cincinnati Bengals-(4-2-1)-Cincinnati finally got a win this October.

15(17)-New Orleans Saints-(3-4)-The Saints blew out the Packers to show the league that they are coming back.

16(16)-New York Giants-(3-4)-The Giants are coming off a bye and will be getting ready to play the Colts on Monday night in this extra long break.

17(18)-Buffalo Bills-(5-3)-It is hard to rag on the Bills as they have surprised everyone and are at 5-3.

18(19)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(5-3)-Big Ben made great passes in a historic win, looking like his old self.

19(20)-Cleveland Browns-(4-3)-It looks like we will be seeing non of Johnny Football this season.

20(15)-Carolina Panthers-(3-4-1)-It is time to get off of the Panthers hope train.

21(20)-Miami Dolphins-(4-3)-The Dolphins can be a dark horse from a wild card position along with the Browns.

22(22)-Houston Texans(4-4)-The Texans have been disappointing as of late, but just got their first win in 4 games.

23(21)-Chicago Bears-(3-5)-What makes it worse for the Bears, it every channel decided to make their game the Gamebreak all of the time even though it was a blowout.

24(25)-Washington Redskins-(3-5)-The Redskins will be going with RGIII despite Colt McCoy getting the win over the Cowboys.

25(24)-Atlanta Falcons-(2-6)-The Falcons could of gotten past their horrible slide if it just wasn't for 1 point.

26(28)-Minnesota Vikings-(3-5)-We would say the Vikings game was impressive for a bad team if the team they played wasn't worse.

27(26)-St. Louis Rams-(2-5)-The Rams can now add Brian Quick to their injured reserve starters/

28(27)-Tennessee Titans-(2-6)-Many thought the Titans would be bad, but not this bad.

29(29)-New York Jets-(1-7)-Are the Jets going to wait until the end of the season to fire Rex?

30(30)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(1-6)-The were so close to that second win.

31(31)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(1-7)-Jacksonville can potentially be the upset of the week as they play the Bengals.

32(32)-Oakland Raiders-(0-7)-And then there's Oakland....

Week 8 Monday Night Football 2014-2015

A glimpse at tomorrow night's game.

Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys

This storied rivalry will be meeting again tomorrow night. The Redskins will have their third QB under center in Colt McCoy as Kirk Cousins was benched last week. Their season hasn't been great but maybe after Colt McCoy helped the team win last week then there will be a fire lit under this team. The Cowboys have been on a hot streak with six straight wins. Tony Romo has been solid but DeMarco Murray has been the real work horse. He has had seven straight 100+ yards games. This win should be an easy one for the Cowboys in prime time.

Cowboys 31, Redskins 10

Chiefs Win Governor's Cup Against Rams 34-7

The Chiefs reclaimed the Governor's Cup (one of the most unimportant trophies in the NFL). The Rams started the game off well as they scored on their opening drive when Austin Davis passed to Lance Kendricks. Their defense played well in the first half even. However, when Greg Zuerlein missed a field goal from under 40 yards, the momentum switched majorly. Alex Smith, Jamaal Charles, and Justin Houston took the games into their hands.

Chiefs Pros - Alex Smith went ten straight at one point. Jamaal Charles closed the game out, and Justin Houston had three sacks.

Chiefs Cons - The Chiefs offensive line allowed the Rams in the back field a few times to stop running backs for losses, and pressure on Alex Smith.

Rams Pros - Aaron Donald had a very productive game, and Robert Quinn got two sacks.

Rams Cons - The second half coaching from Jeff Fisher was horrendous. Also, this hot hand running back system showed many flaws.

Player of the Game: Justin Houston

Thursday, October 23, 2014

Week 8 Bold Predictions

Three predictions this week.

1. Dallas' reign stops.

The past few weeks it seems that the Cowboys have been on the top of the World. However, watch for the resurgence of Colt McCoy as he beats the Redskins.

2. Oakland gets their first win.

The Raiders have been absolutely horrible, but can they really go 0-16. The Raiders have their most winnable game coming up against the Browns this week.

3. Russell Wilson and Cam Newton run for 100 yards.

Both players are great QBs, but they are great with their legs too. Both the Seahawks and Panthers will benefit from their QBs running ability in this NFC match up.

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 8 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos

This week's Thursday night game is once again the game of the week, proving more that the Thursday Night Football games are truly getting better. The Denver Broncos are featured in the Game of the Week for the second game in a row. Both teams gotten the better of some NFC West teams (and seen the other side of the stick), but even more impressively going in to 8 weeks into the season both the Chargers and Broncos have only a combined three losses between them. Last week, Peyton Manning broke the passing touchdown record previously owned by Brett Favre. This week Manning and the third ranked passing offense face the third ranked passing defense though. The Broncos will need to find ways beyond their passing game which means more from the running game that is ranked 25th and Ronnie Hillman. A Chargers win will mean a huge advantage for them heading into the second part of the season as both are front-runners for the AFC West title. Philip Rivers is on a roll and about to break 2,000 yards for the season. Even though this game is in Denver, don't be surprised to see an upset.

Chargers 34, Broncos 31

DOG OF THE WEEK

Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Like the Denver Broncos (for Game of the Week), the Minnesota Vikings find themselves again in the Dog of the Week. Last week, the Vikings played the Bills, but now they face a much more beatable Buccaneers team. Teddy Bridgewater knows this, and sees it as a perfect time to capitalize on his skill. The Buccaneers have had quite the disappointing season. With only one win, many are already questioning Lovie Smith's ability to coach this team. These are the games a coach with his resume needs to win.

Buccaneers 21, Vikings 10

Week 8 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Note that teams can move up and down a total of five from week to week

1(1)-Denver Broncos-(5-1)-Despite the big win against the 49ers to show their domination in this league. Peyton Manning now holds the record for most touchdown passes, passing Brett Favre.

2(4)-Arizona Cardinals-(5-1)-The Cardinals might not be the exact image we are use to from top tier teams, but every week they game plan well and find a way to win.

3(6)-Philadelphia Eagles-(5-1)-ESPN just had a segment claiming that of all the one loss teams, the Eagles are the most likely to miss the playoffs. That is tough to argue against, especially when looking back at the beginning of the season where they had to comeback against double digit deficits.

4(9)-Dallas Cowboys-(6-1)-Dallas have the hottest winning streak in the league right now, that win should continue Monday night as they take on the lowly Redskins in prime time to show the rest of the country how good they really are.

5(2)-San Diego Chargers-(5-2)-Philip Rivers had a passer rating of 83.4 in the loss compared to Alex Smith's 103.4.

6(7)-Indianapolis Colts-(5-2)-The Colts are now on a five game winning streak after falling to 0-2 to start the season off.

7(3)-Seattle Seahawks-(3-3)-Russell Wilson ran for over a hundred yards and threw for three hundred yards, but this team still couldn't find a way to win. The Seahawks are in big trouble right now. However, luckily their next two games are against the Panthers and Raiders.

8(10)-Baltimore Ravens-(5-2)-Justin Forsett ran for 95 yards against the Falcons to help the Ravens win. The most this season for him. He now has 391 yards this season when the team wins.

9(5)-San Francisco 49ers-(4-3)-The 49ers and Seahawks now find themselves in the middle of the pack in the NFC West. Behind them is the Rams, who are two games behind the 49ers. Leading the pack is Arizona by a game.

10(10)-New England Patriots-(5-2)-The Patriots barely beat the Jets this week if it wasn't for a blocked field goal at the end of the game. This team will probably win the AFC East but the question now is "How far can they realistically go in the playoffs?"

11(13)-Green Bay Packers-(5-2)-The Packers game was mercy ruled on Sunday in many areas of the country because of how badly they were beating the Panthers.

12(14)-Detroit Lions-(5-2)-At one point during New Orleans last drive to try to win the game, the Detroit defense made Drew Brees go 0-10 in passing.

13(15)-Kansas City Chiefs-(3-3)-The Chiefs face regional rival Rams this week with the Governor's Trophy (or whatever it is called) on the line.

14(8)-Cincinnati Bengals-(3-2-1)-The Bengals have not won a game in the month of October after starting the season 3-0.

15(12)-Carolina Panthers-(3-3-1)-The NFL has now said that Luke Kuechly's ejection was wrong.

16(20)-New York Giants-(3-4)-The Giants move up four spots despite the loss, because A) the Cowboys are a great team, and B) no other team eligible for this spot is deserving.

17(18)-New Orleans Saints-(2-4)-Drew Brees threw 45 times. That is over double how many times the team carried the ball.

18(22)-Buffalo Bills-(4-3)-The Bills are 4th is opponent rushing yards, allowing an average of 80.4 yards a game.

19(23)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(4-3)-It wasn't #99 J.J Watt making the big plays on defense to take a hold of the game.

20(24)-Miami Dolphins-(3-3)-Ryan Tannehill will most certainly be passing the 1,500 season passing yards mark this week against the Jaguars.

21(16)-Chicago Bears-(3-4)-Players have come out regarding the scuffle in the locker room after Sunday's lost. They claim that Jay Cutler was not called out.

22(17)-Houston Texans-(3-4)-The Houston Texans are not riding a three game losing streak and face a crucial game this week against division rivals the Tennessee Titans.

23(19)-Cleveland Browns-(3-3)-The Browns let the Jaguars get their first win of the season this Sunday. The Jagaurs don't rank any better than #15 in rushing, passing, opponent rushing, and opponent passing.

24(21)-Atlanta Falcons-(2-5)-The Falcons are on a four game losing streak and head to Detroit (5-2), before finally getting their bye.

25(25)-Washington Redskins-(2-5)-The Redskins QB situation now gets even more complicated after a good performance by Colt McCoy who many feel didn't get a fair shot in Cleveland.

26(29)-St. Louis Rams-(2-4)-Many announcers didn't know John Fassel (special teams coordinator) before the game, but now they do.

27(26)-Tennesse Titans-(2-5)-Any playoffs hopes for the Titans will have to come off a win this week against the Texans.

28(27)-Minnesota Vikings-(2-5)-Teddy Bridgewater got his first career passing touchdown this weekend against the Bills.

29(28)-New York Jets-(1-6)-Might have gotten a huge steal Friday as they traded for Percy Harvin after the Patriot loss. They will be giving up a 6th round conditional (4th round) pick.

30(30)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(1-5)-The Bucs will be coming fresh off the bye to face the Minnesota Vikings in what will almost certainly be the dog of the week.

31(32)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(1-6)-The Jaguars earned their first win this week against the Browns, holding the opposing team to only two field goals.

32(31)-Oakland Raiders-(0-6)-Every week it gets more likely we'll see the Raiders finish the season with no wins. Their only winnable games coming up include Cleveland, St. Louis, Buffalo, and Kansas City twice.

Week 7 Monday Night Football

A quick glimpse of tonight's prime time game.

Houston Texans at Pittsburgh Steelers

Both teams are .500 and need a win badly. Last week the Texans also played in a prime time game except on Thursday night to the Colts. The Texans are riding a two game losing streak and seeing their division title hopes fade away. J.J Watt is showing why he is in MVP talks but he can't do it all himself. The Steelers are also finding themselves in trouble. They've lost two of their last three games to the Browns and the Buccaneers and their last win was against the Jaguars by two. The Ravens had taken a two game lead in the AFC North, and this is a must win for Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers.

Texans 28, Steelers 21

Cowboys Beat Rival Giants 31-21

DeMarco Murray broke a NFL record with 7 100+ yard games in the since the beginning of the season. The Giants couldn't stop his 28 carries for 128 yards. The Cowboys got past the Giants 14-7 lead and now have the longest current winning streak in the NFL.

Cowboys Pros - DeMarco Murray has been the staple of this team and had another 100+ yards game. Gavin Escobar had two important touchdowns.

Cowboys Cons - Tony Romo threw an interception....

Giants Pros - Eli Manning played well with a three touchdown game.

Giants Cons - The pass defense allowed DeMarco Murray to easily run despite knowing what he was planning on doing.

Player of the Game: DeMarco Murray

Rams Finish Off Seahawks 28-26

The Seahawks may have scored first with a field goal in their first drive, but the first half was all Rams which featured Tre Mason's first career touchdown run, and amazing punt return touchdown by Stedman Bailey. The half ended with a 21-6 lead by the Rams. However, as recent trend has it, the Rams can't finish off games as seen most recently in the Monday night game against the 49ers. That mixed with the fact that the Seahawks just lost last week was enough fuel for Russell Wilson to take charge. And he did with a rushing touchdown in the third quarter. After some back and forth, the Rams had to punt to the Seahawks when they were only up by two and had over two minutes left in the game. However, a fake punt design by John Fassel executed by Johnny Hekker gave the Rams the go ahead to finish the game. Yet, they didn't when Tre Mason fumbled the ball. Luckily the Rams kept possession in the controversial play.

Rams Pros - Tre Mason was the dominant running back this week and the offensive line was the major reason for that. On the other side of the ball, the Rams defense recorded three sacks when only having one in all the games before.

Rams Cons - The Rams let the Seahawks get back into the game led by Russell Wilson's 100 plus yards rushing.

Seahawks Pros - Russel Wilson showed why he is a Superbowl winning QB with his ability to get the Seahawks back in the game.

Seahawk Cons - Their own penalties ruined a lot of chances for the Seahawks.

Player of the Game: Tre Mason

Week 7 Bold Predictions

Three predictions for Sunday.

1. The 49ers become first in the Power Rankings.

The 49ers play the Broncos and beating them might make the Jim Harbaugh team the team to beat.

2. Jacksonville gets their first win.

The Browns might be on a row but the Jaguars are desperate and this is their chance to get a win leaving the Raiders the only win-less team left.

3. Oakland gets first their first win.

This is the opposite scenario as above where the Raiders upset the Cardinals and the Jags stay win-less.

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 7 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

San Francisco 49ers at Denver Broncos

The 49ers had a nice early comeback against the St. Louis Rams to show they are still a force to reckon with. Now "Bad Boy" QB Colin Kaepernick and Anquan Boldin visit the Denver Broncos led by Peyton Manning and Demaryius Thomas in this week's premier game on Sunday Night. The Broncos have been almost on everyone's power rankings at first place. However, Moshe Football predicts that reign to be short in a hard fought game.

49ers 35, Broncos 34

DOG OF THE WEEK

Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills

The Vikings now have Teddy Bridgewater leading the pack. However, he still has no passing touchdowns. The Bills just lost to the Patriots and will be looking to bounce back. This is the game to do so.

Bills 30, Vikings 14

Wednesday, October 15, 2014

Week 7 Thursday Night Football 2014-2015

A quick glimpse at tomorrow's game.

New York Jets vs. New England Patriots

The Patriots started of the season on rocky grounds, but as of recent Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have picked up the pieces and now control the AFC East after a win against the Bills. Their rivals, the Jets, however have not been so fortunate. The Jets have lost five straight after winning against the Raiders for the opening week. The signs are on the wall and Rex Ryan might be out. The question isn't "If the Jets lose?", but rather "By how much will it take for a Rex Ryan firing?"

Patriots 40, Jets 10

Week 7 Power Rankings

*Please note teams can only move within five spots.

1(2)-Denver Broncos-(4-1)-The Broncos get the benefit of being the "best" team with the Seahawks' second loss.

2(3)-San Diego Chargers-(5-1)-Who would of thought that the West would be the powerhouse in the AFC.

3(1)-Seattle Seahawks-(3-2)-We're not ready to give up on Seattle yet *cough ESPN cough*.

4(4)-Arizona Cardinals-(4-1)-The reality is every week it gets harder and harder to decide were to put Arizona.

5(5)-San Francisco 49ers-(4-2)-Did it seem like to you that there were more 49er fans in the Edward Jones Dome this Monday night?

6(7)-Philadelphia Eagles-(5-1)-Yes, they shutout the Giants, but Moshe Football is not sold on this team.

7(8)-Indianapolis Colts-(4-2)-The Colts showed their Rivals it is their division to lose.

8(6)-Cincinnati Bengals-(3-1-1)-This is like three seasons in a row with a tie. That's cray cray.

9(14)-Dallas Cowboys-(5-1)-It's time to give the Cowboys some real love

10(10)-Baltimore Ravens-(4-2)-Slowly but surely the Ravens are making their way up in the power rankings. However, this week the stay put.

10(11)-New England Patriots-(4-2)-The Patriots are taking back THEIR division.

12(9)-Carolina Panthers-(3-2-1)-Many analyst don't trust this team, but Moshe Football does.

13(12)-Green Bay Packers-(4-2)-The race in the NFC North is going to be a fun one to watch all season.

14(13)-Detroit Lions-(4-2)-The Lions have now missed 10 field goals so far this season!

15(16)-Kansas City Chiefs-(2-3)-The Chiefs keep moving up even when they haven't done anything.

16(19)-Chicago Bears(3-3)-The top three teams in the NFC North are all with in three spots of each other.

17(17)-Houston Texans-(3-3)-The Texans lost a huge opportunity Thursday night.

18(21)-New Orleans Saints-(2-3)-The Saints should be back to normal shape now that they are rested from the bye.

19(23)-Cleveland Browns-(3-2)-The Browns are now above .500 and are in shape to surprisingly take the the division.

20(15)-New York Giants-(3-3)-The shutout from the Eagles was the first of the kind for the Giants in almost 20 years.

21(18)-Atlanta Falcons-(2-4)-This team has now loss three straight games.

22(22)-Buffalo Bills-(3-3)-Typical Bills, start the season off strong, and then just become eh.

23(20)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(3-3)-Is Cleveland that good or are the Steelers just that bad.

24(24)-Miami Dolphins-(2-3)-The Dolphins just loss to the Packers and now head to Chicago to play another NFC North team.

25(25)-Washington Redskins-(1-5)-The Redskins aren't so bad, they just can't win.

26(28)-Tennessee Titans-(2-4)-Maybe moving up isn't exactly what they should be doing, they did only beat Jacksonville after all.

27(26)-Minnesota Vikings-(2-4)-The Vikings allowed eight sacks last week!

28(27)-New York Jets-(1-5)-Every week looks closer to Rex Ryan's exit.

29(29)-St. Louis Rams-(1-4)-The Rams have been a few plays away to being a winning team. They just can't close game or be a second half team.

30(30)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(1-5)-Tampa's bye couldn't come at a better time for them.

31(31)-Oakland Raiders-(0-5)-Hey, at least they aren't the Jags.

32(32)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(0-6)-It's a very real possibility we will see a win-less team this season.

Monday, October 13, 2014

Week 6 Monday Night Football

A preview of tonight's game.

San Francisco 49ers at St. Louis Rams.

Last week saw one NFC West team in the form of the Seattle Seahawks, and now this week, we get to see the 49ers and Rams. This one time storied rivalry has taken a step back to the 49ers/Seahawks rivalry but this game is very important for both the 49ers and Rams. A 49ers' win here will put the team a 1/2 game above the Seahawks. Unfortunately for the Bay Area team, recent distractions involving Jim Harbaugh could be a boulder moving forward. Also, Colin Kaepernick has not played amazingly this season. The Rams are being led by third string QB Austin Davis, who some are seeing as the Rams' long term solution (que in Kurt Warner and Marc Bulger). If the Rams defense shows up then this will be an interesting game, but if not it should be a fairly easy win for the 49ers.

49ers 34, Rams 21

Week 6 Bold Predictions 2014-2015

3 Bold Predictions heading in the new week.

1. No team remains win-less.

Seeing the Jaguars beat the Titans won't be too big, but watch for a huge upset by the Raiders coming off the bye as the face they Chargers in a trap game.

2. Buffalo takes the sole lead in the AFC East.

The Patriots are coming off a a huge win in Cincy against the Bengals, but the Patriots still have their big problems with Tom Brady, and the Bills will take advantage of that.

3. Philadelphia has another blocked punt for a touchdown.

The Eagles have had a block punt for a touchdown in their past two games, and their spectacular special teams can do it again against their rival Giants.

Game and Dog of the Week: Week 6 2014-2015

GAME OF THE WEEK

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

Many can fairly claim the Cowboys/Seahawks game is the game of the week, but what makes this Thursday Night Primetime AFC Rivalry game so special is the fact that both teams are 3-2 and a win will put that team into first place. Houston got the first pick in the draft last year but seeing this team do well now shouldn't be too surprising. The Texans are very talented and just lacked some problems stemming from the coaching personnel. Indianapolis is on a three game winning streak, but those wins came from only one team above .500 as they have struggled against elite teams. A win here for either team can be devastating to the other's playoff hopes.

Texans 30, Colts 27

DOG OF THE WEEK

The Dog of the week also comes from two AFC South rivals. The Jaguars led by Blake Bortles are winless, while the Titans led by Jake Locker only won one game. Whoever loses hear can very well be the first pick in the draft.

Jaguars 21, Titans 14

Tuesday, October 7, 2014

Week 6 Power Rankings 2014-2015

*Teams can move a most of five spots week to week

1(1)-Seattle Seahawks-(3-1)-With Arizona's loss, the Seahawks are now no longer looking up in the division.

2(2)-Denver Broncos-(3-1)-With an important win, the Broncos showed why they are the AFC favorites.

3(5)-San Diego Chargers-(4-1)-The Chargers became the first team to shut out another team this season.

4(3)-Arizona Cardinals-(3-1)-The Cardinals are in trouble after losing another QB, but they lost to the Broncos so we'll cut them some slack this week in the power rankings.

5(6)-San Francisco 49ers-(3-2)-The 49ers passing offense has not been so impressive as of recent.

6(4)-Cincinnati Bengals-(3-1)-Crazy to think you would not see a team go to 4-0.

7(7)-Philadelphia Eagles-(4-1)-Philly has been scoring in some crazy ways, but fans shouldn't be too excited about that. If those crazy scores stop, does that mean the wins will to?

8(9)-Indianapolis Colts-(3-2)-There were a lot of turnovers the last game, but the Colts have been on a three game winning streak.

9(10)-Carolina Panthers-(3-2)-Many might disagree with their placement here, but the Panthers beat a good Chicago team.

10(10)-Baltimore Ravens-(3-2)-This isn't the same Ravens' defense team we are used to.

11(12)-New England Patriots-(3-2)-That is the way to make a statement!

12(13)-Green Bay Packers-(3-2)-Thursday showed the Packers we are used to seeing.

13(8)-Detroit Lions-(3-2)-The Lions have only made four field goals this season.

14(16)-Dallas Cowboys-(4-1)-They may be 4-1 but it's fair to still be skeptical about the Cowboys.

15(19)-New York Giants-(3-2)-The Giants are making good strides for the division now despite early struggles.

16(18)-Kansas City Chiefs-(2-3)-The Chiefs move up despite a loss.

17(17)-Houston Texans-(3-2)-The Texans stay put after the loss to Dallas.

18(14)-Atlanta Falcons-(2-3)-The Falcons get their second straight loss and now questions are coming up of how good this team actually is.

19(15)-Chicago Bears-(2-3)-What has happened? They looked so good early in the season.

20(20)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(3-2)-The Steelers may be 3-2 but they have had the benefit of playing some easy teams thus far.

21(21)-New Orleans Saints-(2-3)-They got the win, but it was by beating the Bucs in overtime.

22(23)-Buffalo Bills-(3-2)-The resurgence of Kyle Orton's career?

23(24)-Cleveland Browns-(2-2)-There was a mistake last week in the power rankings listing the Browns record at 2-2.

24(25)-Miami Dolphins-(2-2)-They move up despite a bye. That's how bad the remaining teams are.

25(28)-Washington Redskins-(1-4)-Kirk Cousins has been productive but doesn't have the killer mentality so far.

26(26)-Minnesota Vikings-(2-3)-They lost to a Packer team that needed the blowout.

27(22)-New York Jets-(1-4)-Rex Ryan's job is in serious jeopardy.

28(27)-Tennessee Titans-(1-4)-It is demoralizing to lose a game from a comeback. It is even more demoralizing when that team is the Browns.

29(29)-St. Louis Rams-(1-3)-Brian Quick is becoming a stud WR.

30(30)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(1-4)-They almost beat NO which is shocking but the question is "How good is NO?"

31(31)-Oakland Raiders-(0-4)-At least they didn't lose this week.

32(32)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(0-5)-Another week, another loss.

Bad Nicknames For All 32 Teams

Trash talking is one of the staples for NFL fans. One of the ways this is done is by giving opposing teams bad variations of their names. Here is a bad nickname for each team that may be popular, original, used a lot, or just plain stupid.

49ers = Fortywhiners - This one is quite popular among fans that are rivals of the 49ers. This is because the 49er fans always whine when something doesn't go their way.

Bears = Da Bearss - This one isn't too bad, but it does give the "Da" stereotype people have towards Chicago natives made popular by Saturday Night Live.

Bengals = BenGals - Without getting into debate of the political correctness or sexism in using this phrase. By making a male team have some type of derogatory girl reference you have perfected classic trash talk style.

Bills = Barfallos - The Bills are from Buffalo so once you know that this makes more sense. The Bills make you want to throw up when you watch them.

Broncos = Donkeys - The act of making something majestic into making it an ass.

Browns = The Poop Team - Yes, this sounds childish, but what do you expect from trash talk. The team is named the Browns and their team color is brown.

Buccaneers = Yuccaneers - This one was popular in the 80s.

Cardinals = Canaries - Cardinals aren't exactly the most intimidating bird to begin with, but canaries are another level.

Chargers = Butt Chargers - What's a great way to make fun of a team? Just add the word butt somewhere to make you sound homophobic.

Chiefs = Cheats - This is because anytime a team wins, that team automatically must of cheated.

Colts = Ponies - One of the most classic ways to make a team feel bad is by calling them a less manly version of what their name represents.

Cowboys = Cowgirls - Again, just change the name into something unmanly and you got yourself a homerun.

Dolphins = Guppies - Once you get past the fact that one is a mammal and the other is a fish, this name isn't so bad.

Eagles = Filthydelphia - This is because the Eagles are from Philadelphia, which is known to be gross and have the ugliest people in it.

Falcons = Dirty Birds - Because the team plays dirty.

Giants = Midgets - Because calling a team the exact opposite of their team name can really hurt their feelings.

Jaguars = Faguars - Once again, with out getting into the political correctness, many feel homophobic terms can hurt opposing fans.

Jets = Jesters - Because the team is a joke.

Lions = Lie-downs - Because they are so easy to beat it is as if they are sleeping.

Packers = Slackers - A simple and not too offensive one.

Panthers = Pussycats - Because they are like little kittens.

Patriots = Patsies - This one is a little obvious because of the "Pat" stem.

Raiders = Afraiders - Because they run away like little patsies.

Rams = Lambs - This is one of the more known ones and makes sense especially as of late.

Ravens = Rapist - Offensive or not, that entire team has a rap sheet.

Redskins = Deadskins - The name is already offensive to some so now it's time to offend the team.

Saints = Aints - You've probably heard the Saints called this because let's face it, historically they ain't got it.

Seahawks = Seahacks - Simply change one letter and you got yourself a great trash talking nickname.

Steelers = Squealers - Because they squeal like little girls. Again comes the feminizing of a name.

Titans = Titties - Nothing reeks testosterone like words for boobies.

Texans = Hexans - Seriously, they are such a new team and there isn't much you can do with that name. So let's put a curse on them.

Vikings = Viqueens - Obvious, but a classic.
