Power Rankings for Week 2 of 2011-2012

Notes:

The last week numbers are from unpublished power rankings, two weeks before the season started.

The most a team can move up and down is 5 spots a  week.

RANK-(LAST WEEK)-TEAM-(RECORD)-NOTE

-(1)-Green Bay Packers-(1-0)-The champs stay on top.

-(3)-New England Patriots-(1-0)-After last night Brady won't stop until he is number 1.

-(6)-Baltimore Ravens-(1-0)-They might be the team to beat in the AFC.

-(4)-New York Jets-(1-0)-They keep winning games, no matter how close.

-(7)-Chicago Bears-(1-0)-What's with all the hatred towards the Bears?

-(9)-Philadelphia Eagles-(1-0)-When your backup basket case QB calls you a 'Dream Team'...ego check.

-(2)-Pittsburgh Steelers-(0-1)-Lose like that to a division rival, you gotta lose 5 spots.

-(5)-Atlanta Falcons-(0-1)-A tough loss last week, next week vs the Eagles will be a real test.

-(10)-San Diego Chargers-(1-0)-They need to work more on their ST to be higher up.

-(8)-New Orleans Saints-(0-1)-It was only one loss, and it was to the champs.

-(13)-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-(0-1)-The lions are a good team and the Bucs played well.

-(15)-Jacksonville Jaguars-(1-0)-Don't expect them to stay this high next week.

-(12)-Kansas City Chiefs-(0-1)-The Bill game was just the lockout effect.

-(18)-Houston Texans-(1-0)-Took advantage of Manning gone.

-(11)-Indianapolis Colts-(0-1)-Haven't remembered the last time they were even this low.

-(19)-Detroit Lions-(1-0)-Looks like they finally will live up to expectation.

-(20)-Dallas Cowboys-(0-1)-If Romo thinks, the cowboys will be good.

-(14)-New York Giants-(0-1)-Health issues concern this team.

-(16)-St. Louis Rams-(0-1)-Like NYG, who they play on MNF, health also concerns this team.

-(21)-Oakland Raiders-(1-0)-New Coaching looks good.

-(24)-Miami Dolphins-(0-1)-Chad Henne threw for over 400 yards and kept Miami in the game on MNF.

-(23)-Arizona Cardinals-(1-0)-ESPN ranked them at 16. They beat the Panthers!

-(17)-Tennessee Titans-(0-1)-Just an 'eh' type of team.

-(27)-Washington Redskins-(1-0)-If they play like they did last week, they'll be moving up quickly.

-(26)-San Francisco 49ers-(1-0)-This is a team where you got to wait to see what will come from them.

-(29)-Minnesota Vikings-(0-1)-McNabb looks like a 'has-been'.

-(22)-Seattle Seahawks-(0-1)-If it wasn't for 5 spots, they would be lower down.

-(25)-Cleveland Browns-(0-1)-Teams shouldn't move around to much on week 1, except for a couple.

-(30)-Buffalo Bills-(1-0)-That win last week will be the only one like that for a long time.

-(31)-Cincinnati Bengals-(1-0)-Who would of thought? So far undefeated!

-(32)-Carolina Panthers-(0-1)-The big question is; Will Cam Newton stay that good?

-(28)-Denver Broncos-(0-1)-Just a mess of a team.
