Quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Sam Bradford took their first snaps this preseason. Both quarterbacks got serious injuries last season, but Rodgers was able to make it back for the end of the season. Early in the game, running back Isaiah Pead was carried of the field after the Rams' first kick return which will likely see his departure from the Rams as he was fighting just to stay on the team. It is worthy to note that earlier this off season the Rams cut running back Daryl Richardson who was taken in the same draft as Pead. Both Bradford and Rodgers threw touchdowns with their first team offenses. Matt Flynn also threw a touchdown as the third Packers quarterback to enter the game, and Mason Crosby made two field goals, one from 49 yards.
Packers Pros - The Packers first team offense looked spectacular, especially Eddie Lacy, who in his first game back looked like he will have an even better season this upcoming year as the Packers try to expand his role in the passing game.
Packers Cons - The biggest cons for the Packers were their many penalties, especially the multiple penalties that negated touchdowns.
Rams Pros - The Rams first team passing game was quite impressive as it was a big question mark for the Rams the past few years. A noteworthy individual is Brian Quick who some Ram fans have been ready to call a bust.
Rams Cons - The Rams couldn't get anything started with the running game. Jeff Fisher has stated that he has wanted to be a run first team but quite often the Rams were getting nowhere. It is important to note that all the fault shouldn't be put on the Rams running backs, but also on the offensive line who while missing two key starters played pretty badly, even with the first team.
Packers Drafted Rookie Pros - Third round tight end Richard Rodgers played well with the first team offense on the blocking front. Also, first round pick Ha Ha Clinton-Dix had a nice sack later in the game.
Packers Drafted Rookie Cons - Fifth round pick Corey Linsley negated a touchdown with a penalty in the redzone.
Rams Drafted Rookie Pros - Michael Sam got a sack late in the game. Sam is battling undrafted rookie Ethan Westbrooks for a potential 9th spot. Westbrooks seems to have taken the lead in the race, especially with a sack earlier in the game but Sam's sack was a good answer to that.
Rams Drafted Rookie Cons - 2nd overall draft pick Greg Robinson still looks to be struggling after last game. He played some snaps at left tackle where he should be comfortable, yet didn't look good.
